About the Review of Touring and Engagement

Creative Victoria is undertaking a review of how to best support creative touring in Victoria.

The Review will examine the current and future needs of the touring environment, map funding mechanisms/programs, consult broadly with sector stakeholders and propose recommended options for new touring and engagement models.

Who should get involved?

We want to hear from creative producers, presenters, tour coordinators, local governments, peak bodies and service organisations who are involved in the delivery of creative experiences in multiple locations in Victoria.

Those throughout North-East Victoria are welcome to attend.

A subsidy may be available for those traveling long distances or those in unwaged positions. Please indicate if you would like to apply for a travel or unwaged subsidy in the registration form.

We are committed to hearing from people of all backgrounds, and those with access requirements. Please let us know more about your requirements in the registration form, so we can plan in advance.

Registration is essential, and bookings will close at 5pm on the day before the forum.

Who is conducting the Review?

Creative Victoria is working with arts research agency Patternmakers to conduct the Review. Managing Director Tandi Palmer Williams and Research Manager Brooke Boyce from Patternmakers are joined by Advisor Peter Matthews to conduct the review, and are looking forward to hearing from those involved with touring.

With your permission, the forum will be audio recorded. The forum will be completely confidential and anonymous for reporting purposes.
